Dropped off 35 year old wood insert fan motor to see if it was rebuildable or if they could get me a replacement motor. Cheaper option was to get a new motor. Kim was very helpful in finding a new motor. Now wood insert is back up and warming the house like a new one. Thanks to Kim and staff at Purser Central Rewinding.

A master at the dieing art of electric motor rebuilds. Nikki Purser and her skilled long term workers know electric motors like nobody else. She comes from a long family history of doing it right and standing behind their work. Don't second-guess your work to cheaper rates but fair rates and great work at Purser Central rewinding. They also stock and sell new products.

Incredible customer service. I showed up unexpected hoping to drop off a motor to my range exhaust fan. Instead they diagnosed AND fixed it while I waited. They literally dropped what they were doing to help. Very grateful to have found them. Saved hundreds vs buying a new one.

I took the starting capacitor off my compressor in to get a new one. The lady at the counter found one that was a reasonable match and as I was getting ready to purchase it, she asked if I would like her to test the old one. I did and she did and, as it turns out, the old one was okay. She said it was probably the internal starting switch and that the technicians in back usually just take an air hose and blow the dust out of the switch and many times that is all it takes for the motor to start starting normally. I went home and reassembled everything and used a line from another compressor and blew the dust and debris from inside the motor housing and, as the lady said, the motor started better than it has in years. She did not have to test the capacitor and she did not have to suggest a possible fix for my problem, she did it as an example of their “excellent” customer service. I certainly recommend Purser Central Rewinding for anyone needing any of the services they provide.
